Initial Steps to Scheduling Your Wedding
Call the Church office at 262-8651 and speak to the Church Secretary about the availability of the sanctuary/chapel for the date and time you are requesting. The Church Secretary will send you a wedding manual and will consult with the Minister concerning his availablility. Please note the following restrictions. No weddings can be scheduled from the from December 15th through Epihphany (January 6th). In addition no weddings can be scheduled from the Saturday preceeding Palm Sunday through Holy Week and Easter. Also no weddings will be scheduled on the following holidays and the weekends closest to those holidays: St. Valentines Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving. Also no eventing weddings after 5:00p..m. can be scheduled on the first Saturday of each month.
No wedding ceremony will be confirmed on the church calendar until the initial forms are completed and returned to the church office. In addition, non members must submit a refundable security deposit of $100.00. The security deposit will be returned to you after the wedding has taken place and an inspection of the building has been made. After the completed forms and deposit have been received at the Church Office, the couple should contact the Senior Minister and schedule the first meeitng.
Following contacts with the Church Office and Minister, the couple must then schedule a meeting with the Minister of Music/Organist, Ronald Davis at EMAIL TO BE ENTERED. The couple should also contact the Alter Guild at EMAIL TO BE ENTERED. The services of the Alter Guild and church's Mistress of Ceremonies must be used for all weddings at Ginter Park United Methodist Church. You mal use your own wedding planner in addition if you wish.
