Food Pantry

Your Church Food Pantry was truly blessed during 2007.

Our sincere thanks to our church congregation for their many bags of groceries donated to the food pantry as well as their monetary gifts.

Other special gifts your Food Pantry received were:

Ginter Park Woman’s Club donated a variety of canned foods from their Thanksgiving Food Drive.  These ladies have donated food to our food pantry for the past several years.

Prof. Helen Ruth Aspaas’s two VCU students, Shannon McNiely and Michael Newsome, volunteered many hours in the food pantry during the months of November and December.  Prof. Aspaas’s History Class donated many boxes of dry cereal and instant soup.

Your Food Pantry received many bags of groceries and toilet articles from the congregation of Reveille United Methodist Church, sponsored by Mrs. Sheelaugh Davis.

Stephen Coleman’s LEISURE CLUB of Reveille United Methodist donated many bags of groceries and delivered them to the Food Pantry.

Mrs. Elli Speer’s Third Grade Class collection of canned foods and toilet articles were delivered to the food pantry by Mr. James Speer and his children.

United Methodist Urban Ministries of Richmond Auxiliary donated many bags of groceries and their monetary gift to the Food Pantry.

Reveille United Methodist Third Grade Class monetary gift the children made from their Bake Sale.

God works in mysterious was and answers many prayers.

May you and your family have a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

Jean and Zeke Taylor
