Traditional Service

The Eleven O'clock Sunday Worship Service at Ginter Park United Methodist Church is a traditional service, incorperating the beauty and majesty of ancient traditions. This service is welcoming and embraces the carring ministry exemplified in the Wesley tradition.
It is held in our  Sanctuary designed to provide an ideal worship setting. Built in === the sanctuary
is richly ornamented with stainglass and mosaics that reflect the symbols and stories of our Christian faith.
This service is rich in liturgy, prayer, scripture and music from the traditional sacred repertoires. The service begins with a Voluntary, played on the magnificent 29 rank Moller pipe organ. The Voluntary is followed by a procession in which the choir and clergy follows the crucifer and acolytes that are carrying the cross and lame both symbols of Christ's presence among us.
The service opens with the singing of hymns, responsive readings, prayers and includes beautiful music provided by the church choir, soloists and musicans. The morning sermons are both inspiring and thought provoking and often involved in the major issues of our day.
On the first Sunday of each month the congregation is invited to receive Holy Communion. This service is open to all belivers, regardless of church affiliation. We invite you to join us at eleven O'clock each Sunday morning as we encounter the Living God and leave to seek our place of service in His Kingdom.
