The Prodigals finished the regular season with 6 wins, 10 losses, a good record for a first year team. We saw a lot of improvement all around this year, especially on defense. The playoffs will start next Tuesday, June 29th; times and locations will be announced soon.
I would like to thank all the guys who came out to play this year. Every one of them gave 110% no matter what the score. We have the scrapes, sprains, and aches to prove it. I had an amazing time playing ball with and getting to know these great guys.
I would also like to thank everyone who came out to watch the games and cheer us on. It was great to hear the shouts, cheers, and chants (G! P! UMC!). The games are a lot more fun when you have friends and family out there having fun and cheering us on. I hope we give you fans a great show in the upcoming playoffs.
