Greatly Energized & Motivated Seniors
Missions. Spiritual Growth. Nurturing. Worship. These words may be the first ones that come to mind when describing what a church has to offer. However, having FUN TOGETHER strengthens our bonds with each other and renews our spirits to do the work of Christ. GEMS offers a number of opportunities for members and guests to share time together outside of regular worship. Activities range from sight seeing day trips to dining out and everything in between. GEMS is not limited to seniors--Everyone is welcome!
October 13th: GEMS will go to Grave's Mountain Lodge. Apple Orchard and lunch included. Cost to be announced.
October 18th-22nd: GEMS will sponsor a trip to the Isles of Georgia. A four night, five day trip with full meals and professional transportation with a guide. A flyer will be available. Cost: $389 per person.
December 8th: Christmas party at the church. This will be a full course meal with all of the trimmings and entertainment from the Bronson family singers. This is our treat to you for all your kindness to Bessie and me.
December 29th: Annual Christmas lights tour. We will meet at the church a 6:00 P.M. for this outing. Christmas treats will be part of this outing!
